When I have to go to Budapest many times, because everybody is there and everything can be resolved there, I think sometimes that I should move there. And when I meet Szolnok people at meetings and events in Budapest I think, why we go to Budapest, why people from Budapest don’t come to Szolnok ?

Because we could present to them the issue of the Tisza and Zagyva Rivers, we could admire that while a stork is clattering, Szolnok is developing, building and liveable. We don’t have to sit in traffic jams, we know each other, we know with whom we can do business and who we should avoid from, which company pays at time and where are purposeful or unpredictable problems. In Szolnok, not only neighbours have a bowing acquaintance but entrepreneurs do the same beacuse something connects us.

We have to make our way of life here.

If there is the situation, show our successes and how we can help to each other. When I told this idea to actors of Szolnok business community, it became clear that not only I have the same type of ideas. Well it means that it is the time to organize an event when others’ knowledge and succesful examples can come to Szolnok. Let us present what we know and let we invite people who know how things go on.

This was the story how we started to organize the first ’Szolnok Economic Days’.

It will be a succesful event ? It won’t depend on us. We provide the facilities. It depends on you that you take the advantage of it.

The connection, the possibility itself is extraordinary power, we try to help the contractors and firms in Szolnok in it. The time has proven that the race of the traditional exhibitions is run, we must find such a new way that supports the participants of the local economy in the discovery of new areas and in the business connections that are necessary for the development.

I think that this economic meeting is perfectly suited to this role. The city of Szolnok succeeded in the area of the development of economy and the building of the town during the last few years. Our investments themselves offer possibility for our contractors for the outbreak, however I think that we must stand by our firms and we must support their successfulness too.

We would like to create such a forum during the Days of Economy in Szolnok, where the trading and making contacts can bring efficiency over the borders too.
